The Desert Mirage RAMS are taking a road trip to take on the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. San Jacinto Leadership Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Desert Mirage, who comes in off a win.

Desert Mirage's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Vincent Memorial with a sharp 6-0 victory. It was an even better day for Brianna Diaz as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five contests, San Jacinto Leadership Academy finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Santa Rosa Academy. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Desert Mirage's win bumped their record up to 2-6-1. As for San Jacinto Leadership Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Desert Mirage was able to grind out a solid victory over San Jacinto Leadership Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Desert Mirage since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
