Soccer Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Takes a Loss

Tattnall Square Academy fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Mount de Sales Academy on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Cavaliers who were credited with the victory. The Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans' two. Tattnall Square Academy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Mount de Sales Academy earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Tattnall Square Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Mount de Sales Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tattnall Square Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Piedmont Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mount de Sales Academy will challenge rival John Milledge Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
