It was a good run, but Crean Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Villa Park Spartans. The contest marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micaela Hanning, who posted ten points. Sydnee Norwood was another key player, putting up ten points.

Bailey Roczey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Villa Park, posting 13 points along with five boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Wolfe, who scored ten points.
