Softball Recap: Hulbert's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Hulbert's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Inola Longhorns. The win was some much needed relief for the Riders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hulbert's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Inola, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hulbert and Inola will both be playing Checotah the next time they take the field. The Riders will host the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Longhorns will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
