Raymond/South Bend and Ilwaco pushed the score to 38-30 the last time they played Ilwaco, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Ravens came up short against the Fishermen, falling 20-0. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Ravens' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Despite the loss, Raymond/South Bend had strong showings from Chris Banker, who rushed for 151 yards, and Adam Mora, who rushed for 69 yards. Banker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 151 rushing yards.

Raymond/South Bend now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Ilwaco, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-5.
