Football Recap: First Flight Takes a Loss

First Flight was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Hertford County Bears at home by a 30-14 margin. The Nighthawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

First Flight's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hertford County, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. First Flight will take on rival Currituck County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hertford County is set to face off against their familiar foe Martin County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Ayden Everette and Jah Sheppard.
