Recap: Redbank Valley Bulldogs vs. Moniteau Warriors
The Redbank Valley Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Moniteau Warriors, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Redbank Valley narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Moniteau 39-36.
Redbank Valley found their leader in underclassman Adyson Bond, who scored 24 points along with four steals. Bond is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kira Bonanno was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Redbank Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Moniteau, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2.
Redbank Valley will take on Keystone at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keystone is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Moniteau, they will head out on the road to face off against Karns City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Karns City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Moniteau is ranked 95th).
