Baseball Recap: The Bay School Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

With a playoff win on the line, The Bay School rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Hercules Titans 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Breakers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Ansel Hermanos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 16 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Max Lee was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

The Bay School pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Hercules, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10-2.

Looking ahead, The Bay School will challenge Pinole Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hercules does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
