Schurr was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Caesar Aguila did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Aguila as he made ten total tackles and snagged an interception.

Aguila and Schurr will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on San Gabriel at 7:00 p.m. on October 2. The Spartans are a perfect 9-0 against the Matadors going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
