Basketball Recap: Allyson Durham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cripple Creek-Victor over Cotopaxi + How To Watch

Cripple Creek-Victor lost against Cotopaxi back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pioneers took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates.

Cripple Creek-Victor's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Allyson Durham, who went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Savannah Mead, who almost dropped a double-double with nine rebounds and nine steals.

Cripple Creek-Victor's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cripple Creek-Victor will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Custer County at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Cotopaxi, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Crested Butte at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
