Soccer Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western lost against Calvary Chapel back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Western can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 581st, while Calvary Chapel are ranked 275th).

Western's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Calvary Chapel, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Western has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Orange on the 9th. As for Calvary Chapel, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Savanna on the 4th.
