Basketball Recap: Bentley Comes Up Short

Bentley lost against Head-Royce back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bentley Phoenix were dealt a 57-16 defeat at the hands of the Head-Royce Jayhawks. While losing is never fun, the Phoenix can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1067th, while the Jayhawks are ranked 355th).

Bentley has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Head-Royce, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Bentley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Head-Royce has already played their next match (against College Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
