Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Bradford Owls
The Port Allegany Gators won the last time they faced the Bradford Owls, and things went their way on Saturday too. Port Allegany came out on top against Bradford by a score of 41-33.
Port Allegany got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ella Moses out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Moses has scored at least 25% of Port Allegany's points. Another player making a difference was Kayleigha Dowell, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals.
The win got Port Allegany back to even at 1-1. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Allegany will take on Otto-Eldred at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bradford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
