Softball Recap: Guardian Angels Central Catholic Gets the Win

Guardian Angels Central Catholic proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Arlington Eagles. The Bluejays haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Abi Toline spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
