Softball Recap: Bristow Gets the Win

Bristow lost to Collinsville back in September of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Pirates came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals, sneaking past 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bristow now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Collinsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Bristow wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Perkins-Tryon on the 5th. As for Collinsville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Dewey on the 5th.
