Hamilton Southeastern of Indiana, Calallen of Texas, St. John-Vianney of New Jersey all brought home banners last week.

After another weekend filled with state championships, only a few teams in the MaxPreps Top 25 softball rankings have postseason games left on their schedule.

A dominant performance from standout pitcher Abbey Lane helped Woodgrove (Purcellville, Va.) capture its second-straight state title and 45th straight win. The Wolverines topped Jefferson Forest (Forest) 7-0 to win the Class 4A championship. Lane mowed down 11 batters and allowed three hits as Woodgrove claimed its seventh state title in program history.

Madison McDougall struck out her 300th batter and pitched a 13-strikeout, one-hit gem to lift St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, N.J.) to a 4-1 victory over Mount St. Dominic (Caldwell) to bring home a second straight Non-Public A championship. Junior Elisabeth Figliolino, who has been clutch all year, drove in two runs on a pair of hits. The Lancers enter this week's MaxPreps Top 25 at No. 22.

Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.) was tied 1-all with New Palestine in the seventh inning of the Indiana Class 4A title game when Alex Kiemeyer walked up to the plate. The Indiana-Indianapolis pledge smashed a base hit down the left-field line scoring the game-winner. The clutch hit helped the Royals win their first state championship since 2010. They join the rankings this week at No. 24.

The other newcomer this week is Calallen (Corpus Christi, Texas) at No. 23. The Wildcats pieced together a pair of runs and sophomore Jordyn Thibodeaux was lights out in the circle during their 2-1 Class 4A state title victory over Liberty. The victory gave them 30-straight wins to close out the season.
