The Soquel Knights came into Tuesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 49-27 margin over Harbor. That looming 49-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Soquel yet this season.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Julianne Sanguinetti, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Samantha Herrera, who scored eight points.

Soquel's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Harbor, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soquel will take on the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harbor, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mariners at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Aptos focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
