It was a good run, but Dade County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chattooga Indians, falling 8-2. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Dade County's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-6. As for Chattooga, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

While Dade County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
