Baseball Recap: Nantucket Takes a Loss

Nantucket lost to Martha's Vineyard Regional back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Whalers fell 6-1 to the Vineyarders. The contest marked the Whalers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Nantucket saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli MacIver, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Nantucket and nudges their season record down to 11-9. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.

As of now, neither Nantucket nor the Vineyarders have any future games scheduled.
