Marietta lost to South Cobb back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Blue Devils blew past the Eagles 14-2.
Jordyn Cunningham was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayla Stewart, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Marietta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.
