Rosemont has gone 3-0 against Laguna Creek recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Rosemont Wolverines will host the Laguna Creek Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. That match will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Myra Miles and Jestine Tofi.

Last Friday, Rosemont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 33-28 to Natomas. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Laguna Creek's strategy against Tracy on Saturday. Laguna Creek put the hurt on Tracy with a sharp 48-25 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Laguna Creek's win came from a few key players Rosemont will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alyson Aguirre-Hernandez, who posted 17 points along with six boards and six steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tofi, who had eight points in addition to 15 boards and five steals.

Laguna Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.

Laguna Creek's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Rosemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
