Basketball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grant last Saturday, Eisenhower came back down to earth. The Eisenhower Eagles were beaten by the Choctaw Yellowjackets 87-45 on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Choctaw, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Piedmont at 7:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025. As for Choctaw, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Putnam City North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
