Soccer Recap: The Nueva School's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Nueva School). Everything went their way against the Design Tech Dragons on Friday as The Nueva School Mavericks made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Mavericks have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the ninth in a row for The Nueva School, bringing their record for this year to 15-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine games. As for Design Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Nueva School will host More at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. More is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season. As for Design Tech, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Summit Shasta at 8:00 p.m.
