Baseball Recap: Cross Creek Comes Up Short

Cross Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 17-4 to the Hephzibah Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 back in February.

Cross Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Hephzibah, they moved to 7-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Cross Creek and Hephzibah will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Razorbacks see the field they'll take on West Laurens at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Hephzibah, their break will end when they face Academy of Richmond County at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
