Basketball Game Preview: Blackhawk Cougars vs. Clearfield Bison

The Blackhawk Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Clearfield Bison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Blackhawk is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.

It was another big night for Aubree Hupp, who almost dropped a triple-double with 23 points, nine rebounds, and 44 steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last 32 games she's played dating back to last season. Alivia Rabick was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.

Clearfield's win came from a few key players Blackhawk will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sonny Diehl, who shot 61% from the field on her way to 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Eve Helsel, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards.
