Recap: Elverson Military Academy vs. Sayre Sabres
Elverson Military Academy had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 52-18 defeat at the hands of Sayre.
Sayre was led to victory by Brionn Veal-Coston and Mischa Ferguson-Bell. Veal-Coston dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds, while Ferguson-Bell dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten assists. The game was Ferguson-Bell's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Elverson Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Sayre, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Elverson Military Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sayre won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Samuel Fels at 3:15 p.m. on January 11th.
