Glendale Prep Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tempe Prep, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Griffins' pitcher stepped up to hand the Knights a 23-0 shutout on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Griffins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Raegan Rockey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ally Moore was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and five RBI while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
