Basketball Game Preview: Homestead Mustangs vs. Milpitas Trojans

The Homestead Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Milpitas Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Homestead is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Homestead was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to Fremont.

Meanwhile, Milpitas' game on Tuesday was all tied up 8-8 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Los Altos 29-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Homestead's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Milpitas, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.

Homestead came out on top in a nail-biter against Milpitas in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 49-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Homestead since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
