Baseball Recap: South Harrison Comes Up Short

South Harrison had taken Petersburg down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Hawks fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

South Harrison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Watts, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for South Harrison and nudges their season record down to 21-12. As for Petersburg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-19.

South Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Petersburg, they will head out to challenge Lincoln at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
