Volleyball Recap: St. Andrew's Wins Going Away Against Coastal Homeschool

St. Andrew won the last time they faced Coastal HomeSchool and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions put the hurt on the Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

While St. Andrew's won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-7, 26-24.

Ryan McGee paced St. Andrew's offense, picking up ten kills. McGee got some help from Grace Dare and her 18 assists. Dare also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Makenna Riley, racking up seven apiece.

St. Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

St. Andrew's will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Long County at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics on the 13th.
