Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton County Foxes vs. Benton Rangers

Hamilton County is 1-9 against Benton since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Foxes will look to defend their home field against the Rangers at 4:30 p.m. Hamilton County has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hamilton County came up short against Massac County on Monday, falling 12-5.

Meanwhile, Benton suffered their closest defeat since April 23rd on Tuesday. They fell just short of Nashville by a score of 6-4. The Rangers have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Benton's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Hamilton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15-1.
