Crestwood came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Romulus, but Torrence Searcy wouldn't allow it. The Eagles came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 35-26 on Friday with plenty of help from Searcy, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

Romulus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zane Hunter and Micah Jones. Romulus received some extra help from Riley Simmons, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

The win made it two in a row for Romulus and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for Crestwood, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.
