Soccer Recap: McIntosh County Academy Takes a Loss

McIntosh County Academy lost against Echols County back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers lost 5-1 to the Echols County Wildcats. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McIntosh County Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Echols County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McIntosh County Academy will challenge Lanier County at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. As for Echols County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Echols County face off against the Metter at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
