Football Game Preview: Osborne Bulldogs vs. Hanover Wildcats

The Osborne Bulldogs will square off against the Hanover Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Osborne has given up an average of 38 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Osborne lost 42-20 to Thunder Ridge on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Osborne took the loss, they still got scores from Tate Tiernan, Koltyn Graf, and Ethan Conrad.

Meanwhile, Hanover put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past Linn to the tune of 52-12. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Bulldogs are ranked 26th).

Hanover's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Osborne, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Osborne couldn't quite finish off Hanover in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 and fell 28-26. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Wildcats' Braylon Meyn, who picked up 103 receiving yards and one score, and also threw for 60 yards and one touchdown. Now that the Bulldogs know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
