Basketball Recap: Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Comes Up Short

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 40-20 to the Episcopal Academy Churchmen. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-38 back in January.

Episcopal Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Boerner, who posted ten points and four steals. Boerner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Caitlin Mccarthy was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Episcopal Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11-1.
