Dariona Simmons Game Report: vs Calhoun County

Dougherty came out on top against Calhoun County on Wednesday thanks in part to Dariona Simmons's efforts. Simmons produced her best game of the campaign: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. She also put up three RBI, which were her first of the season.

Coming up, Simmons and Dougherty will host Deerfield-Windsor at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will enter the matchup having just beaten Westover, so the Trojans will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
