Soccer Game Preview: Los Angeles vs. Jefferson

Los Angeles is 1-8-1 against Jefferson since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Los Angeles Romans will welcome the Jefferson Democrats at 3:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Los Angeles will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Manual Arts, who they had gone 0-7-2 against in their nine prior meetings. Los Angeles never let Manual Arts onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Romans were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Jefferson waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Huskies. Considering the Democrats have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Los Angeles' win bumped their record up to 2-10-1. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1-2.
