The Chatfield Chargers will square off against the Valor Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
Chatfield's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Bear Creek. The Chargers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 19-9).

Naveah Stratton and Annabelle Beikmann did most of the damage at the plate: Stratton went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Beikmann went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four hits gave Beikmann a new career-high. Quinn Davros was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Valor Christian made easy work of Bear Creek on Saturday and carried off a 14-6 win. Considering the Eagles have won six games by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Elizabeth Canales made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kendall Ferguson was a standout: she fired off two home runs, six RBI, and one double while going 5-for-5. Another player making a difference was Karis Flannery, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3.
Valor Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Chatfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Valor Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
