Math & Science College Preparatory waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Discovery Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Sharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Math & Science College Preparatory never let Discovery on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-22.

Math & Science College Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Discovery, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6-1 record this season.

Math & Science College Preparatory will take on New West Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Discovery, they are taking a road trip to take on Magnolia Science Academy Reseda at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
