Basketball Recap: Summit Tamalpais Takes a Loss

Summit Tamalpais played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Trinity Prep Crusaders and fell 49-4. The Timberwolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-2.

Trinity Prep found their leader in sophomore Allie Duncan, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 18 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Duncan has scored at least a third of Trinity Prep's points. Another player making a difference was Evelyn Falsini, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

The victory was the third in a row for Trinity Prep, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Summit Tamalpais will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marin Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Trinity Prep also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy at 4:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
