Baseball Recap: Calvary Day Comes Up Short

Calvary Day fell victim to Mount Paran Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mount Paran Christian Eagles by a score of 2-0. The loss was the Cavaliers' first of the season.

Calvary Day saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Arnold, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Sam Renshaw also deserves some recognition as he stolen his first stolen base of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary Day fell to 3-1-1. As for Mount Paran Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Coming up, Calvary Day will challenge Lee County at 12:30 p.m. on March 1st. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Marietta at 5:55 p.m.
