Basketball Recap: Charleigh Atkinson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat West Shore Christian Academy

A well-balanced attack led Christian School of York over West Shore Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Christian School of York enjoyed a cozy 36-20 win over West Shore Christian Academy. This was a revenge game for Christian School of York: when they faced off against West Shore Christian Academy back in December of 2024, they had to take a 39-21 loss.

Christian School of York's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charleigh Atkinson led the charge by going 6 of 9 en route to 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlynn Fuller, who posted eight points and three steals.

Christian School of York was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Christian School of York and bumps their season record up to 5-10. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
