Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Notre Dame Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Notre Dame played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Cornerstone Christian Cougars, falling 77-37. While losing is never fun, the Pilots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 853rd, while the Cougars are ranked 399th).

St. Joseph Notre Dame has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9.

St. Joseph Notre Dame will challenge Athenian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will face off against College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
