Football Game Preview: Mercer Mustangs vs. Wilmington Greyhounds

Mercer is 0-7 against Wilmington since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Mercer turned things around against Sharpsville on Friday. They managed an 18-12 win over the Blue Devils.

Meanwhile, Wilmington never let their opponents score on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over Reynolds. The win continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-2. As for Mercer, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4.
