Baseball Game Preview: Marion Eagles vs. Beal City Aggies

The Marion Eagles will face off against the Beal City Aggies at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Marion managed to slip by Farwell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Marion lost 11-4 to Farwell on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Marion has suffered since April 11, 2025.

Meanwhile, Beal City unfortunately witnessed the end of their 20-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of DeWitt.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Beal City, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-8.

Marion suffered a grim 9-0 defeat to Beal City when the teams last played back in May of 2018. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
