Basketball Recap: Shadow Ridge Comes Up Short

Shadow Ridge lost against Chandler back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shadow Ridge Stallions were beaten by the Chandler Wolves 69-41.

Despite the loss, Shadow Ridge had strong showings from Weston Eubanks, who posted ten points and seven rebounds, and Payton Garcia, who put up ten points.

Shadow Ridge has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Chandler, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Shadow Ridge and Chandler could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. Shadow Ridge will face off against West Point at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th down 133 places (160 vs. 27). Similarly, Chandler (ranked 65th) will meet Basha (ranked seventh) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
