Baseball Recap: Creston Comes Up Short

Creston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Winterset Huskies, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 on Tuesday.

Creston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Winterset, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creston will challenge Nodaway Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Winterset, they will face off against Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th.
