It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Desert can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Woodlake Tigers on Thursday.

While Desert had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 13-25, 25-18.

Destiny Hart paced Desert's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hart got some help from Kloyee Baldwin and her 23 assists. Zaylee Whitesell and Raeleigh Rivera kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Desert has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. As for Woodlake, they now have a winning record of 16-15.
