Soccer Recap: East Mountain Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, East Mountain was not quite Sandia Prep's equal in the second half on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Sundevils. The shutout was out of character for East Mountain seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

East Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2-1. As for Sandia Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, East Mountain and Sandia Prep will both be playing Cottonwood Classical Prep the next time they take the pitch. The Timberwolves will head out to face the Coyotes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Sundevils will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
