Waterford won the last time they faced Gustine and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Waterford Wildcats escaped with a win against the Gustine Reds by the margin of a single free throw, 40-39. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

When it comes to explaining why Gustine lost, don't look at *Shandel Aguilera. Despite the final result, she dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 11 boards, and 11 steals. Aguilera is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. GWendolyn Barcelos was another key player, going 8 for 19 en route to 16 points.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Gustine, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
